Gate Valve

Gate valve that opens by lifting a round or rectangular wedge out of the fluid path, with planar sealing surfaces between gate and seats — not intended for flow regulation, a pure on/off isolation valve. Cast steel wedge gate valve to API 600 / BS 1414: flanged and butt-welding ends for petroleum, petrochemical and allied industries.
